CARES Housing Stability Funding Report

This report was built to for agencies receiving funding from CARES Housing Stability Funds (ERAP) to monitor data entry. Agencies will submit the Summary tab to their funder.

Running the Report

Recommended Export Format

  • If submitting the report electronically, Schedule to Microsoft Excel - Reports
    • Select only the Summary tab when exporting

Important! Because the report contains identifying information (names), the report cannot be emailed (even within agencies) unless encrypted, nor can it be shared outside of the agency. Ensure that the password for the Excel spreadsheet is not in the same email as the report. 

  • If submitting the report on paper, Schedule to Adobe Acrobat PDF  
    • Select only the Summary tab when exporting

Important! Because the report contains identifying information (names), you must ensure the document(s) containing the identifying information are fully concealed (e.g., use an envelope with a security tint or keep pages with identifying information surrounded by other pages) prior to submitting the report to the funder.

Setting the Prompts

Prompt Instructions
Select Provider(s): Select the project(s) for which you wish to run the report. 
EDA Provider If only one project is selected in the "Select Provider(s):" prompt above, select the same project here. 
If more than one project is selected in the "Select Provider(s):" prompt or if a reporting group has been selected in "Select Reporting Group:" prompt, then select one of the projects within the selected projects or reporting group. 
Enter Start Date: Enter the start date for the reporting period in m/d/yyyy format. For example, if you're running a report for 7/1/2020-6/30/2021, the date entered in this box would be 7/1/2020.
Enter End Date PLUS 1 Day: Enter the date after the last date of the reporting period in m/d/yyyy format. For example, if you're running a report for 7/1/2020-6/30/2021, the date entered in this box would be 7/1/2021.
Show Client Names? Select "Yes" if client names should be displayed in the report, and "No" if the client names should be hidden in the report.
Important! If you include client names when you run this report, then the report cannot be emailed (even within agencies) unless encrypted, nor can it be shared outside of the agency. 

Using the report

Summary tab

This tab shows the total number of households and clients served in the reporting period, the demographic breakdown (gender, race, and ethnicity) of the clients, and project totals for number and financial amount of rent and utility assistance provided.

Detail tab

This tab shows all clients with active enrollments into the selected provider(s), their entry information, select exit information, as well as a count of the number of rent, utility, and emergency shelter services provided and amount paid for rent and utility services. 

Additional Information tab

This tab contains information about the report that can be utilized by ICA staff to determine whether the report was run properly by the user. If you seek assistance with this report from the ICA Wyoming Helpdesk, please be prepared to read/send information off of this tab to the individual who assists you. 

Need Assistance?

If you need assistance running the report, understanding the information in the report, or troubleshooting potential errors, please reach out to the ICA Wyoming Helpdesk. Include the name and date of the BusinessObjects report  as it appears in your BI Inbox in your request for assistance. Do not attach the report to any emails going to the helpdesk as the report contains personally identifying information and cannot be transmitted unless encrypted.
